The Roseburg Police Department charged a man with a noise disturbance violation on Saturday, March 28.
According to a Roseburg PD report, a man living on NW Ellan Street "enjoys standing by his fire in his backyard while blaring loud music late into the evenings," RPD said.
He has been advised of the city ordinance several times, the report stated.
The man "was contacted [Saturday] evening after another noise complaint and his music could be heard a block away," RPD said.
He was cited and released on scene, charged with Noise Disturbance City Ordinance Violation.

UPDATE (4/4/23): The Roseburg Police Department reports it once again cited the same man for another noise ordinance, about a week after the last citation.
According to a Roseburg PD report, the 54-year-old man was cited around 10:30 on Sunday, April 2. The previous citation was issued on Saturday, March 28.
The man "was contacted again at his residence due to excessively loud music," RPD said regarding the new incident. "He was again cited for the city ordinance violation."
The report states he was "cited and released," charged with Noise Disturbance City Ordinance Violation.

UPDATE (4/6/23): Officers responded to the man's residence again on Wednesday (April 5) "due to his excessive music volume," RPD said.
The man "had been warned countless times for the same violation in the recent past," the report stated.
He was issued another citation for the music volume.
