Submissions needed for Summer art exhibit at RCAC

The upcoming Rockmart Art Gallery exhibit this summer is all about transformation.

The upcoming Metamorphosis Art Exhibit is accepting submissions from local and area artists in all mediums for consideration to be in this year’s show. Artists can provide up to three jpeg images of artwork that have been completed in the past three years by May 27 for consideration.

Submit those to rcac@rockmart-ga.gov for the show coming up June 27 through August 29.

Artist do have to provide a $30 entry fee if they aren’t RCAC members (which is a $30 annual membership fee.)

The theme Metamorphosis is seeking artwork that is “outside of the box” and all about the process of transformation and/or change in everything from nature to the personal life.

RCAC hopes that artis are able to “have fun” with this summer’s exhibit.

A reception is planned for July 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Rockmart Art Gallery to celebrate the works and their creators.
