Rockingham Police seek suspect in VFW break-in

ROCKINGHAM — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a break-in suspect.

According to investigators with the Rockingham Police Department, an unknown man broke into VFW Post 4203 around 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 25.

The suspect reportedly entered the building by cutting a hole in the back door.

Investigators say the suspect, who was caught on security video, stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the post.

Photos of the suspect were posted on the RPD’s Facebook page Friday morning.
