Rochester shooting leaves man with life-threatening injuries; investigation underway

An investigation is underway following a shooting on Michigan Street in Rochester that left a city man with life-threatening injuries.

According to Rochester police, at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to the 100 block of Michigan Street for the report of a male shot. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to a local hospital and is being treated for serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
