ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Officers with the Rochester Police Department were called to a car accident where the vehicle rolled over onto its side Sunday morning on South Avenue near Manor Parkway in Rochester.

According to the RPD, the two people in the vehicle were able to exit the vehicle by the time officers arrived to the scene. The driver struck a parked vehicle causing the rollover. Officers say the collision pushed the parked car into a second parked vehicle.

Officers say the occupants of the vehicle were a 38-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man both from Niagara Falls. AMR took the female occupant to Strong Memorial Hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The male occupant was uninjured.

The investigation into what caused the accident remains ongoing.
