Rochester, N.Y. — Police are investigating a pair of shootings in the city Monday.
RPD said officers first responded to the 100 block of 6th Street around 3:30 p.m., where a 28-year-old man was shot in front of a house.
The victim ran to 7th Street, where officers found him and rushed him to the hospital, according to police.
He was seriously injured, and is now listed in critical but stable condition.
As officers were clearing that scene, gunshots were detected less than a mile away, in the area of North and Roycroft drives.
Police said they found a 24-year-old gunshot victim in the 100 block of Roycroft Drive. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
No suspects are in custody, and anyone with information on either shooting is asked to call 911.
