Rochester police have identified the woman found dead following fire at a Garson Avenue home over the weekend.

Lysandra Bagley, 37, of Rochester was found dead inside 244 Garson Ave., just east of North Goodman Street, Sunday evening, said Capt. Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department. Bagley lived at the house, which was damaged in the blaze. Firefighters were called to 244 Garson, a 2 ½-story single family home, around 7:35 p.m. Sunday.

Rochester police did not say where in the house Bagley's body was found. Umbrino did not say who else lived at 244 Garson and whether anyone else was home at the time of the fire.

The Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office has completed Bagley's autopsy but has not yet determined the cause and manner of her death. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Umbrino said.

RPD's Major Crimes Unit and the Rochester Fire Department continue to investigate.
