Pinpoint Weather: Isolated showers Saturday & sunny on Sunday

ROANOKE, Va. ( WFXR ) – This evening will remain cloudy with temperatures in the 50s and light wind.

There is a slight chance of isolated to scattered showers overnight and Saturday morning. While Saturday remains cloudy thanks to high pressure wedged up against the mountains, the afternoon should be dry for most areas.

Saturday’s temperatures will be warmer than Friday’s but still below normal.

While Saturday will be cloudy and cooler than normal, the conditions will change creating a mostly sunny and warmer Sunday.

Sunday will begin a period of much warmer temperatures that will last for a week or longer.

Other than some afternoon and evening showers and storms off and on next week, the weather looks to be warmer than normal and drier than normal.
