McKenzie boys basketball hires Justin Lowery as coach from Gibson County
McKenzie boys basketball has its new coach. Justin Lowery was announced as the Rebels' new coach, the school announced on social media Tuesday. Lowery has spent the last 12 seasons at Gibson County, leading the Pioneers' boys team. He went 157-186 and led the team to its first sectional game in 30 years in 2022 and went back again in 2023. The Pioneers went 12-15 this season, ending with an opening-round loss to Milan in the district tournament.
