Deputies arrest Summerton man accused in Pee Dee murder after months-long investigation
DILLON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - After a multi-agency effort, a Summerton man has been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting two months ago in Dillon County. Dillon County Sheriff’s Office confirmed 63-year-old Monte Lee Armstrong was arrested after an extensive investigation with the assistance of Florence County Sheriff’s Office, Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office, 4th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, ATF, and the Assistant United States Attorney’s Office.
