Pharrell Williams' coming-of-age musical is casting Richmond-based extras this week.

Why it matters: You could be in a movie!

Zoom in: CDC Extras Casting is looking for Black or mixed race adults who live in Richmond to be cast as a "core group of neighbors" in the film, per a Facebook post .

    • Men need to have a size 38 waist or smaller, women size 14 or under, to fit into the circa 1970s wardrobe.
    • Extras need to be available April 22-May 13.
    • See full details in the post and how to apply .

The fine print: No pay rate was shared, but when "Mercy Street" filmed here in 2016, extras were paid $64 a day ; two years later for "Turn" it was $75 a day .

The big picture: The post doesn't say it's the Pharrell movie, only that it's an untitled movie musical set in the 1970s shooting in town from April through June.

What's next: It looks like CDC Extras, which also cast Richmond-filmed " Mercy Street ," will do all the extras casting for the film. The page encourages folks to check back for additional roles in the coming days.
