A woman accused of killing a Richmond man in September 2019 is expected to plead guilty to robbery this week.
Prosecutors say as part of a plea deal, a charge of felony murder against Chanda Lilly will be dropped. A plea hearing in the case was scheduled for Thursday. It was not clear if there would be a recommended sentence.
Lilly was arrested in March 2020 in connection with the death of Andrew Sherman, who was found dead in his Richmond home on Oct. 11, 2019.
Officials said at the time they believed Sherman was killed in late September 2019.
Lilly was the second person arrested in connection with the death. Tyon Shuron, 42, of Augusta, was also charged with murder.
