The Richmond Art Museum had a busy weekend.

The first of two events, RAM hosted its 17th Annual Phantoscope Film Festival , which had more than 240 films entered from high school filmmakers across the United States and Canada.

Multiple awards were given out to the 14 shortlisted candidates, including the Audience Choice Award.

While senior Emily Hawkins and junior Maya Hawkins accept that the award might have been biased, the Richmond High School sisters were just thrilled to see their movie on the big screen.

Recently, a lot of the community Facebook pages have been questioning transportation options in the county. There have been multiple taxi companies pop up in the area since the closure of Depot Taxi , but as of now I've been told the only one currently registered with the city is HK and L Transportation.

Of course there is Roseview Transit as well, and I know of at least two to three other companies that are working to get registered.

A story about all of them is currently in the works, and when there is one out, all of you will be the first to know!
