Dinner Under the Downtown Lights
Downtown Lebanon became an elaborate outdoor restaurant Saturday evening. The city closed the 100 block of West Commercial Street and Downtown Lebanon set up outdoor dining tables for Dinner Under the Downtown Lights. City recognizes Berkich for four decades of service
The City of Lebanon recognized Codes Administrator Joe Berkich for his four decades of service at Monday night’s Council meeting. Berkich, who is retiring at the end of the month, received the Mayor’s Silver Leaf Award and Mayor Jared Carr proclaimed May 31 Joe Berkich Day in the city. According to the proclamation, Berkich has worked for the city for 40 years, beginning in October 1986. For more on this story, see Wednesday's LCR.
