Local Volunteers Cleanup Ilion, Frankfort Marinas
ILION, N.Y. -- Ilion True Value Hardware, in partnership with the 2024 CanalWay Cleanup, held their annual Earth Day event in Ilion and Frankfort on Saturday. Members of the Central Valley Academy NJROTC, along with other volunteers, met bright and early at the IlionMarina to clean up along the ErieCanal Trail. True value provided large bags and gloves for the cleanup, as well as water and snacks.

Westmoreland softball earns convincing CSC win over Herkimer
Westmoreland smacked 11 hits and beat visiting Herkimer 11-1 in Center State Conference softball on Wednesday. Autumn Millington had two hits, two runs and drove in three in the win. Molly Nestved, Jenna Tyczynski and Aubriana Metz all had two-hit games as well.
