Saratoga County firefighter’s home heavily damaged in fire

A firefighter’s home was heavily damaged Sunday by a fire in Rexford.

Two adults and three young children lived in the home, investigators said.

The home belonged to a member of the Vischer Ferry Fire Department, the department said in a Facebook post.

The fire department is now raising money to help get the family back on their feet.
