Jakeob Stewart, son of Brian and Megan Stewart, is competing for Colby Community College on May 3 at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, in Mill Spring, North Carolina. He will be showing in the beginner horsemanship division. Stewart is a 2022 graduate of Uniontown High School.

According to Colby Community College, its equestrian team is offering two horsemanship day camps in May at the CCC Agricultural Center three miles east and one mile north of Colby. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., and the camps conclude at 3:30 p.m.
Woman seriously injured Tuesday in pickup truck-semi crash in western Kansas
COLBY, Kan. (WIBW) - A woman suffered serious injuries Tuesday morning when the pickup truck she was driving collided with a semitrailer in western Kansas, officials said. The collision was reported at 9:44 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of County Road K and County Road 15 in Thomas County. The location was about 11 miles southwest of Colby.
