Megan Maclean was found dead near her home in Johnsonville on June 4th of that year.
In the five years since, little information has come to light.
But in 2020, the case was upgraded to a homicide investigation.
Maclean was found by a friend in a wooded area behind her home off Route 67.
Strychnine, a chemical primarily used as rat poison, was found in her body.
Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly says, someone out there has information on this case, and now is the time to come forward.
Still, no arrests have been made.
