Nevada football team will have six games on national TV this season

Six Nevada football games this fall will air on national networks, University of Nevada Athletics announced Wednesday.

Three Wolf Pack home games will air on CBS Sports Network, beginning with the Sept. 16 game against Kansas. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Mountain West home games against New Mexico (Oct. 28) and Wyoming (Nov. 25) also will air on CBS Sports Network, with the Nevada Day Weekend game against the Lobos set for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. The regular-season finale against the Cowboys is set for a 6 p.m. start.

On the road, Nevada's 2023 opener at USC will kick off from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at 3:30 p.m. and be televised on Pac-12 Networks. The Wolf Pack's road conference games at Fresno State (Sept. 30) and San Diego State (Oct. 21) will air on one of the Fox Networks (FOX Sports, FS1, FS2), with kickoff times set to be announced approximately 10 to 12 days ahead of the respective game dates.

Nevada's Nov. 18 game at Colorado State will kick off at noon. Start times and broadcast information for the Pack's remaining contests will be announced at a later date.

The Mountain West Conference will have 47 games on national television, with 27 set for CBSSN, 17 on Fox and three on CBS national.

The three CBS national games are Wyoming against Texas Tech on Sept. 2, Oregon State at San Jose State on Sept. 3 and UCLA at San Diego State on Sept. 9.

The Nevada football team opens the season at USC on Sept. 2. Kick-off is set for 3:30 p.m.
