BOONEVILLE – The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office recently made three felony drug arrests at safety checkpoints within a four-day span. Glenda Carter, 44, of the Burton community was arrested at a June 3 safety checkpoint at Highway 30 and County Road 3501. She was initially arrested on a pair of justice court warrants, but officers say they later found a felony amount of methamphetamine and another controlled substance in her vehicle.
