Red Bank man faces two counts of attempted murder

RED BANK, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Red Bank man is facing charges of attempted murder from an incident that involved shots fired. Red Bank Police arrested 39-year-old Alan Reid Uptain on Wednesday.

Police were dispatched to Crerar Street, near Dayton Boulevard.

Two victims said they were in an argument with Uptain at a residence on Crerar Street. Uptain was driving a black Audi hatchback with no license plate.

The victims said Uptain was in his car during the argument. He started shooting at them and then drove away, according to the victims.

Officers later found this vehicle on Santeelah Street nearby.

They are charging him with two counts of attempted murder.
