Flight for Life Called to Crash Near Adell Wednesday
Flight for Life was called to a serious crash on Highway 57 at County Highway “A” near Adell on Wednesday afternoon which injured three persons. The Sheboygan County Sheriff says it was shortly after 4pm when a 22-year-old man from Plymouth failed to stop for the stop sign on “A” and slammed into a northbound vehicle being driven by an 82-year-old man from Belgium. That man had to be airlifted by Flight for Life helicopter for treatment. A passenger in his car – his wife – and the other driver were also injured and transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Wisconsin Woman ARRESTED For Two Overdue Library Books
A Wisconsin woman was arrested for the most over the top crime, from cover to cover. She did not return a couple library books, so she was arrested and cuffed. SG. Heidi Dalibor received calls, letters in the mail, about two overdue library books. The Grafton Library in Wisconsin, apparently had more than enough of Heidi not returning her library books, so they contacted the authorities. Say what? They called to cops over two books. These books were "several months" overdue, so that warrants the police arresting her...I guess.
Accident sends four to two hospitals
A driver who didn’t yield the right of way on Highway D east of Highway K in the Town of Belgium shortly after 7:30 a.m. Saturday injured four people, according to an Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office release. A 2003 Toyota Tundra traveling east on Highway D turned into a driveway in front of a westbound 2011 Ford F350 towing a trailer. The 60-year-old Brown Deer man driving the Toyota suffered minor injuries and was taken to Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. His passenger, a 53-year-old Milwaukee woman, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa via a Flight for Life helicopter. A 46-year-old Belgium man who was driving the Ford suffered minor injuries and his passenger, a 69-year-old Belgium man, suffered serious injuries. SHEBOYGAN - A Sheboygan County judge has sentenced one man to prison and dismissed all charges against a woman in connection with the overdose death of a 55-year-old man. After the man’s death in Sheboygan last spring, prosecutors charged Jason Knoll, 46, with being party to a crime to first-degree reckless homicide involving drugs and charged Amy Jo Papendieck, 57, with delivering heroin and second-degree recklessly endangering safety.

The 54-year-old Fond du Lac woman who was drunk when she hit a man walking his scooter across a street in Fond du Lac last September has pled no contest to an injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle charge. Terri Huettl was in Fond du Lac County court for a plea hearing last Thursday. A second charge was read into the record and dismissed. According to the criminal complaint when Huettl’s truck struck the 18-year-old Fond du Lac man on September 2nd he hit her windshield and flew into the air. Medical staff who treated him told police he suffered a fractured skull, traumatic brain injury, broken clavicle, and severe internal bleeding. A partial portable breathalyzer test administered at the county jail put Huettl’s blood alcohol concentration at nearly 2 ½ times the legal limit. She will be sentenced on July 19th.

Two arrested/charged in May 23 shooting incident in Fond du Lac
FOND DU LAC, WI — Two people are arrested and charged in connection with May shooting incident in Fond du Lac. A 16-year-old male and a 19-year-old man from Fond du Lac were taken into custody last Wednesday at a location in the 100 block of South Marr Street in the City of Fond du Lac. Both are charged with Attempted First-Degree Intentional Homicide (Party to a Crime). Those charges are in connenction with a shooting incident that occurred on May 23. Both suspects are being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail. The investigation is continuing.

BELGIUM, Wis. - Four people were hurt in a crash in Belgium in Ozaukee County Saturday morning, June 3. It happened around 7:30 a.m. on County Highway D east of Kay K Road. Sheriff's officials said the driver of a Toyota Tundra going east on County Highway D failed to yield the right-of-way to a Ford F-150 towing a trailer that was going west. The Tundra turned in front of the Ford in an attempt to enter a driveway, officials said.

Fire Causes “Severe Damage” to Town of Lima Home
A home in rural southeastern Sheboygan County sustained “severe damage” during a fire on Thursday night according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office.
