One shooting, two scenes, Raleigh Police investigate an incident that left a person hospitalized

According to authorities, a shooting that was part of two scenes happened downtown Raleigh Wednesday night, leaving one person injured.

RALEIGH, N.C. — According to authorities, a shooting that was part of two scenes happened downtown Raleigh Wednesday night, leaving one person injured.

Police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Martin Street around 8:51 p.m. and located one male victim with a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A few minutes later, another shooting incident was reported 0.1 miles away at 317 Haywood Street.

Authorities say an investigation is underway.
