NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Thursday released a photo of a suspect wanted for stabbing a man in his eye during a dispute on a Queens street last month, authorities said.

At approximately 3 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, a 39-year-old man was involved in a dispute with the suspect at the intersection of 85th Street and Northern Boulevard in Jackson Heights, officials said.

According to police, the suspect then proceeded to stab the victim in the right eye causing serious physical injury.

The suspect was last seen fleeing northbound on 82nd Street on foot.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Elmhurst, where he was listed in stable condition.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers.
