BRISTOW, Va. (7News) — A Prince William County high school student was injured and a juvenile was arrested after a hit-and-run near a middle school on Monday, police said. In a letter to the community, Patriot High School Principal, Dr. Michael Bishop announced that a student was struck by a car near Marsteller Middle School in Bristow. Two incidents occurred in Fredericksburg, Virginia this week. In the first incident, a 40-year-old felon was stopped by a deputy at a Wawa for an inactive vehicle registration. The driver, Johnny Martin Jr., admitted to having a suspended license and prior convictions for driving while suspended, but failed to mention that he was wanted in Stafford. In the second incident, a wanted man attempted to flee from an auto accident but was quickly located by a deputy. The suspect, Michael Louis, had a history of fleeing from crash scenes.

Fighting Crime in Prince William County VA
Woodbridge VA- Prince William County police have arrested a suspect connection to the robbery that was reported to have occurred in the area of Gunsmith Ter. and Old Landing Way in Woodbridge (22191) on November 29. While investigating the incident, detectives determined the shoe transaction was a ruse used to lure the victim to the area where the suspects then robbed him. Detectives identified a 16-year-old male juvenile as the suspect who made the arrangements to meet and rob the victim. On December 1, following the investigation, the 16-year-old male juvenile, was arrested. The investigation remains active as detectives attempt to identify the other individuals involved in the incident. Arrested on December 1: [Juvenile] A 16-year-old male juvenile of Woodbridge Charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony, Court Date: Pending | Status: Held at the Juvenile Detention Center Suspect Description: A black male, about 20 years old, approximately 5’11”, and right handed Last seen wearing a black mask and a black jacket with fur on the hood Armed Robbery | Carjacking [Previously Released] – On November 29 at 2:47PM, officers responded to the area of Gunsmith Ter. and Old Landing Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed two 16-year-old male juveniles were in the above area conducting a shoe transaction when they were approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect implied he had a weapon and demanded property from both juveniles. The suspect then took the vehicle belonging to one of the juveniles and drove out of the area. No weapon was brandished by the suspect, only implied. While driving the stolen vehicle, the suspect rearended a Prince William County Public Schools bus stopped at the intersection of Rippon Landing Way and Blackburn Rd. The suspect then fled on foot prior to police arriving in the area. The bus driver was the only occupant on the bus at the time of the collision. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. Shoes and an undisclosed amount of money were reported missing.
Local Juvenile Charged in Armed Robbery and Carjacking Case in Charles County
A 17-year-old male has been identified and charged by the Criminal Investigations Division detectives in connection to an armed robbery and carjacking incident last month. The suspect is alleged to have threatened a car occupant with a firearm on Grouse Place, demanding the car keys. He initially fled on foot, but later returned to steal the car. In a separate incident, he reportedly stole a vehicle at gunpoint on Eagle Court.
