Man in custody after running inside a home with a gun, Salinas police say
SALINAS, Calif. — Salinas police said they were serving a search warrant in a home on De Cunha Court. This all occurred when police spotted a man running inside a home with a gun in his hand at around 5:20 p.m. Salinas police activated the SWAT team but the suspect came out after a couple of minutes.

Deputies arrest man wanted for attempted murder outside of Salinas
SALINAS, Calif. — The Monterey County Sheriff's Office found a man wanted for an alleged shooting that occurred Tuesday morning on San Juan Grade Road. At around 6:23 a.m., deputies responded to a home near 500 San Juan Grade Road for a report of a person who was shot. The victim was found and taken to the hospital for their injuries, said a deputy spokesperson.
