Broadway Bistro to close this summer

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A popular Providence restaurant will soon close its doors for good.

Broadway Bistro announced on social media Wednesday that, after more than 16 years in business, the eatery’s last day open will be July 27.

“We could not have asked for a better run,” the restaurant wrote. “Thank you to all of our current and former employees and all of our wonderful customers who have come through here over the years. This place couldn’t have ever happened without you all.”

Eater listed Broadway Bistro as one of “ 15 Essential Restaurants ” to visit in the capital city late last year, describing it as “the kind of place you can rely on for a laid-back yet special-feeling date night.”
