Man Attempted to Break Into Fox Point Home Through First Floor Window — While Residents Inside

A man has been arrested after reportedly trying to break into a Fox Point residence through a first-floor window.
The incident occurred just days after a SWAT team was called in to respond to a domestic stabbing one block over.

Shortly before 10 PM Friday night, police responded to the 200 block of Power Street for a report of suspicious activity.
The caller told police a man had been trying to break into his first-floor residence, before fleeing in a car.
When police arrived, the victims — who were home at the time — said the male suspect had flashed a light through their bathroom window before trying to break in.
The suspect reportedly fled when confronted by the residents.
According to police, the suspect along with his vehicle was located and detained later in the evening in the area of Benevolent Street.
