PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police were on the scene of a serious two-car crash in Providence early Friday morning.

Officers responded to the intersection of Chalkstone Avenue and Bergen Street around 1:30 a.m.

The two cars involved have severe front-end damage.

No word on any injuries or what led up to the crash.
