Shell casings litter street in Providence after shots fired

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police could be seen investigating two scenes of shots fired on Salmon Street.

ABC6 News Crews were on the scene in the area of 33 Salmon St. where police could be seen setting up a perimeter of crime scene tape.

The area of 47 Salmon St. was also cordoned off with crime scene tape and multiple evidence markers.

Up to 12 bullet casings were seen in the road near a multi-unit residence.

Information regarding injuries or any suspects involved in the shooting was not immediately available.
