Grindle One-Pitch Co-Ed Softball Tournament on the weekend of September 15-17. “It’s something we look forward to all year long,” said Brooksville’s Gwen Lebel. Medomak Valley boys and girls soccer teams defeated Belfast 5-1 on Sept. 14. The boys jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the Panthers den. Scoring for Medomak were Zan Nguyen with two, and Slavick Moody, Dima Cheesman and Juan Carlson with one each. Nevan Power added two assists and Moody and Mo Ngido one each. Kam moved here from Old Town in seventh grade, so he’s really been a part of us for the past four years. He knows what we want. We know what they want, so it’s great to just be able to come together and just be a team for our last senior year,” said Maguire, senior quarterback/safety.
