Louisville man celebrates 100th birthday at favorite local bar
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Joe's Older Than Dirt bar got its name because, way back in 1954, it had a dirt floor, and Harry Lee has been there to see it all. Friday was Lee's 100th birthday celebration at the bar. Bar owners said Lee still gets around pretty good, still drives and is the oldest patron at Joe's.

Red Lobster bankruptcy documents list Louisville location among possible closures

Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport Expo Center Hotel (830 Phillips Ln.) has completed a $25 million renovation that included the hotel lobby, lobby bar, guest rooms, and event spaces. As part of the renovation, the Crowne Plaza has opened Al’s Table Restaurant, named after the late local developer Al J. Schneider, whose Executive West hotel is the Crowne Plaza’s predecessor.
