After several hours of being closed, Route 28 in Manassas reopened after a dump truck struck a utility pole early Tuesday morning, police said.

At 6 a.m., the Prince William County Police Department said they responded to the crash at Centerville Road (Route 28) and Orchird Bridge Drive.

All of Route 28 was closed for at least five hours between Yorkshire Lane and Orchird Bridge Drive as crews worked to clear the scene.
