The Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) is searching for two men who reportedly performed separate inappropriate actions in front of women in a Target and a Walmart, officials said.
In the first incident, officers responded to a Walmart on Liberia Avenue in Manassas on March 15 around 6:40 p.m. for the report of a suspicious person.
After an investigation, officers determined that a 56-year-old woman was in the store's bathroom when she saw a phone being held above her stall, PWCPD said. The woman reportedly tried to knock the phone out of the suspect's hand before she exited the stall. The woman then tried to take out her phone and the suspect hit her phone out of her hand, officials explained.
The man left the bathroom and fled the store. The woman reported the incident to security who then contacted the police.
That man was described as approximately 5'6" with a thin build, black hair, a beard and a mark above his eyebrow, PWCPD said.
In the second incident, officers responded to a Target located on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge on March 16 around 4 p.m. for the report of indecent exposure.
Police determined that a 23-year-old female customer was in the store when she saw a man exposing himself and making inappropriate gestures, police said. The woman confronted the man and he began to follow her. She approached an employee for assistance and the man reportedly fled the store.
Surveillance footage confirmed the man performed similar actions toward another customer in the store before the incident with the woman, PWCPD confirmed.
This man was described as approximately 6'0" and was wearing a facemask during the incident.
Anyone with additional information regarding either of the two suspects is encouraged to contact the Prince William County Police Department.
