Prince George's County Police are asking the public's help to find a Boston Terrier that was inside a Land Rover that was stolen from a Prince George's County gas station Thursday afternoon.
Gianni, or John-John, was inside a 2016 Land Rover Evoque with Pennsylvania tags JSV1294, when it was stolen from a gas station in the 6100 block of Annapolis Road in Landover Hills around 1:25 p.m.
On Friday, authorities said the car was recovered but police are still looking for the missing pup.
The car was running at the time of the theft.
Gianni's owners explained that their second dog was also in the car at the time of the incident but was found shortly after by a good samaritan in Fairmont.
If you see Gianni or have any additional information about the incident call 911 immediately. The family is offering a reward of $5,000 for returning the lost dog.
