Hundreds cited for speeding near Primm during Memorial Day weekend (KSNV)
Las Vegas (KSNV) —
Nevada State Police recently joined forces with the California Highway Patrol to keep the Nevada-California border safe for travelers this holiday weekend.

Officers say they made 517 traffic stops, citing 469 people for speeding and handing out 59 other citations.
On Friday, May 26, 2023, Nevada and California Highway Patrol concentrated enforcement near the Primm area and St. Rose Parkway.

According to NHP, the stretch of the I-15 is considered one of the deadliest stretches of highway in the country, and safety is the number one priority during busy holiday weekends, like Memorial Day.
