A pile of garbage has one Prichard resident at odds with the city.
That might not sound so unusual, except that the property owner claims it was the city that dropped the pile of household garbage on his property.
Myles Craig of Eight mile said he had the video to prove it.
Now, to be clear, it's not video of the trash being dumped, but it's video of the city coming back on a Saturday morning to pick it up.
In that video you can see the truck backing in to his lot on medley street that Saturday morning in May.
Then you can see a large claw being used to scoop it up.
There’s also video of the pile of garbage -stuff you throw into your trash can everyday- food scraps, milk cartons, and even more troubling debris, like medical waste.
Myles says he has reason to believe it all came from nearby homes.
"Right,” he says, “cause it had various addresses from woodruff, further on back from the other block, it had neighbors down the street's trash, their medical supplies, catheters, everything was all in the trash."
the trash is gone now, but myles has a lot of questions.
Nbc 15 news has reached out to Prichard mayor Jimmie Garnder, leaving voice and text messages in hope of getting the city’s side of this.
We have yet to get a response.
