The Floyd County Diabetes Coalition will be hosting a diabetes awareness event tomorrow at the student center at the Prestonsburg Big Sandy Community and Technical College campus.

The event, which is called “Diabetes Alert Day at BSCTC”, will feature diabetes risk assessments, free A1C checks, healthy food samples, diabetes information and support, and door prizes.

The event will be from 10am to 1pm tomorrow.
