After a tight comeback win against Northfield on Thursday night, the Owatonna boys lacrosse team had an easier time against the Simley Spartans in their matchup against them on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies had a 10-0 lead against the Spartans at halftime and it wasn’t until late in the third quarter that the Spartans were on the board. City's meeting on drinking water contaminants now available to stream

Dairy Innovation Hub research explores soil and water management
Progress is being shared on several research projects within Wisconsin’s Dairy Innovation Hub, including work to improve nutrient management. The Dairy Innovation Hub is facilitating hundreds of research projects across the University of Wisconsin campuses in Platteville, River Falls, and Madison, and Matt Ruarck from UW Madison has projects focused on soil and water health. “All sorts of topics related to manure management, nitrogen management, cover crops, all of these things to improve, and how do we get more of the nitrogen that we apply into the plant and less of it into the ground water.”
Hudson teacher charged with inappropriate behavior tenders resignation
HUDSON, Wis. — A teacher in Hudson, Wisconsin has resigned after being criminally charged for reportedly having inappropriate contact with one of her students. During a meeting of the Hudson School Board Monday night, board members discussed a personnel package that included the resignation tendered by fifth-grade teacher Madison Bergmann. Bergman was removed from her classroom at River Crest Elementary and arrested on May 1 after a parent of one of her students informed district officials about alleged contact between the teacher and their son.
