City of Prescott Approves Pre-Annexation Agreement with Deep Well Ranch for Airport Protection and Compatible Land Use
The City of Prescott in Arizona has approved a pre-annexation agreement with Deep Well Ranch for about 600 acres of land north of Prescott Regional Airport. The land is outside critical fly-over zones and the agreement is part of ongoing negotiations to explore compatible land uses around the airport.
Aggressive Mountain Lions Euthanized in North Prescott Following Pet Attacks
North Prescott authorities have euthanized three mountain lions responsible for killing three dogs and injuring three others. Arizona Game and Fish are still searching for a fourth lion involved in these incidents. The aggressive lions have also approached people, including a mother and child. A video of the lions traveling through a backyard has gone viral after a concerned neighbor shared it, prompting officials to warn residents.
