PRESCOTT – We’re highlighting our amazing community this summer with our summer reading theme, All Together Now. Let’s celebrate the wonderful diverse community of Prescott/Nevada County USA with fun programs and activities all summer long.

With the help of the Chamber of Commerce, the Prescott/Nevada Library Summer Reading Program will KICK-OFF, July 7th at 8:30 PM with a movie under the stars. We will have a drive-in movie experience at the Nevada County Fairgrounds showing the new Super Mario Bros. Movie! Our next event will allow children to safely meet a few of the snakes that live in Arkansas with Cossatot River State Park on July 12th at 10:00 AM. Later that same afternoon at 1:30 PM, kids can let their imagination run wild with an adventure as they witness the birth of a stuffed animal when they build a new friend. Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop allows children to build themselves a new friend. Spaces are limited, so sign up for a spot as soon as you can! The following day, July 13th, kids can have fun creating a food craft with Fun Ways to Use Fruits with Katelyn K at 1:30 PM. Space is limited for this activity as well, so make sure you secure a spot as soon as possible! Next, we will have Wild Things ZOOFARI bringing the zoo to us on July 20th at 10:00 AM.

The finale to the library reading program, will be a foam party with Magic Mr. Nicks Foam Crew on

July 27th from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. This will be the perfect way to cool down and end the summer reading program on a fun note.
