Blizzard conditions have created a whiteout over several areas in Montana - Bozeman, Lookout, and Raynolds Passes continue to experience heavy snow and wind gusts to 25 mph. Continued showers hover in the west through the afternoon with reduced visibility due to wide-spread blowing snow and slippery conditions on passes. Many areas including Great Falls, Lewistown, Livingston, and Bozeman can anticipate a continuation of reduced visibility to 1 mile or less. Use caution on roadways – ensure headlights are on and reduce speed.

Moisture wrapping around an area of low pressure will keep rain and snow showers moving across the region early today. Showers will gradually diminish this afternoon as the low moves farther to the east. Gusty winds will continue through the afternoon, shifting to the north as the low begins to exit.

Dog waste cleanup planned Thursday-Sunday in Gallatin Valley
MISSOULA, Mont. — Community members will come together Thursday to pick up dog waste in the Bozeman area. Today from 3 to 5 p.m the Gallatin Valley Land Trust and other groups need up to 60 volunteers to clean up the waste at several locations throughout the watershed before May showers wash harmful nutrients into rivers and streams.
