PRATT COUNTY—Three people died in an accident just before 3p.m. Friday in Pratt County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford Taurus driven by William Fowler Stevens, 32, Woodward, Oklahoma, was southbound on Kansas 61 two miles north of Preston.
The Taurus crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2014 Ford Fusion driven by Joshua Jamal Townsell, 30, Omaha, head-on.
Stevens, Townsell and a juvenile in the Fusion were pronounced dead at the scene. The KHP had incomplete seat belt usage information.
