Snowbird Transitions To Weekend Operations

While many resorts have closed for the season, Snowbird, located in Little Cottonwood Canyon, is still going strong. A fresh dump of snow last week has set the resort up nicely for some late season skiing and recent photos from Snowbird make it look pretty fun up there right now.

As of this week, Snowbird has transitioned to weekend-only operations. So, Snowbird is open from 8am - 2pm Saturdays, Sundays, and Memorial Day (May 27th). Notably, there is limited terrain open during these times. Mid-Gad, Wilbere, Gadzoom, Gad 2, Baldy Express, Chickadee, Baby Thunder and the Thunder Tube are closed. Peruvian Express, the Peruvian Tunnel, Mineral Basin Express, Little Cloud and the Tram are operating as conditions allow.

Don't have a Snowbird pass? Not to fret. There are special deals for late season bird passes if you're really interested. You can also ski free during this time if you have a 2024/2025 season pass.
