POTTSTOWN — The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce recently joined grand opening celebrations of two Pottstown-area businesses.
The chamber joined Crunch Fitness, a new chamber member, for its ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark its official grand opening of their Pottstown location on Feb. 27.
The exercise and fitness gym franchise, located at 223 Shoemaker Road in the Pottstown Shopping Center, offers low-cost gym memberships with personal trainers, fitness classes, exercise equipment, with a “no judgements” philosophy in the 25,000-square-foot space. The gym is owned and operated by Fitness Holdings Northeast LLC, which is a franchise group of Crunch Fitness.
The Crunch Fitness Pottstown facility offers state-of-the-art equipment and amenities. Membership includes cardio classes, weights and machines, locker rooms with showers, nutrition programs, circuit training, and free Wi-Fi. They also offer personal training and Crunch+ Streaming workouts.
Serenity Dental Spa
The chamber also joined Serenity Dental Spa, a new chamber member, to celebrate the grand opening of its office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, March 10.
Serenity Dental Spa, created and run by Dr. Alisa Zitter, offers oral health services in a state-of-the-art setting. The new office, located at 4 Glocker Way in North Coventry, has the look, and feel of a spa with relaxing music, noise-cancelling headphones, aromatherapy, and even warm hand towels. Zitter offers wellness education to improve aesthetics, including preventative dental care, restorative dentistry, cosmetic and smile makeovers, clear aligner orthodontics, oral sleep appliances, and Botox injections.
Zitter, a second-generation dentist, graduated from Temple University with an anthropology degree, and received her DMD from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. Her goal is to prevent oral health problems that arise due to lack of routine dental care by offering membership plans. These plans offer dental care at a discounted flat fee.
“Cutting out the insurance allows Serenity Dental Spa to provide better pricing,” Dr. Zitter said.
