New Thai eateries in Portsmouth, York Beach, ice cream cocktails, too

With summer unofficially here, we have news for you on openings, a closing and a canceled opening, plus bold flavors of ice cream here in Seacoast New Hampshire and southern Maine.

Five 81° Northeast to open in Portsmouth

Peter Whitehead, front of house manager at the Green Elephant Vegetarian Bistro and Bar in Portsmouth, is assisting in the opening of the business' sister restaurant,  Five 81 ° NE. Renovations are under way at the Lafayette Road location, formerly home to Tuscan Market.

Dishes native to northeast Thailand are set to be served at Five 81° Northeast, a new restaurant coming to Portsmouth this summer.

Takeout Station closing in Exeter

Pattaya Thai brings Southeast Asian cuisine to York Beach

Wandby Landing owners scrap new restaurant plan

Co-owners Mariah and Matt Dyer recently opened Wandby Landing, a new restaurant in Kennebunk on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

Plans to open a new restaurant at 135 Port Road have been canceled.
