Portland Police: Driver, passenger identified in Morrison Bridge fatal crash

PORTLAND, Ore. —
Portland Police have identified the two people killed Sunday morning after the vehicle they were in went off the Morrison Bridge.

22-year-old Larry Angel Ayala-Valdez was behind the wheel of the 2003 Mercedes 500 when it struck a barrier, left the bridge, landing on the street below.
The passenger in the car has been identified as 22-year-old Adrian Gama.
Portland Police have previously said that speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
