Portland's Pride Ride was held Friday night, celebrating the beginning of Pride Month and World Bicycle Day.
The ride, which started from Director Park, was also held in honor of the late drag queen Darcelle XV, a Portland legend who died back in March.
The one-and-a-half-mile ride went by LGBTQIA+ landmarks in the Rose City and ended with a dance party.
Friday's event was led by drag queen Poison Waters, who is also the Grand Marshall of the Starlight Parade.
"Events like this are super important. It allows families to come, and for business folks to take time off," said Poison Waters. "Every walk of life is here ... 'All wheels are welcome' is what we say at the Pride Ride. So everyone is here just to feel safe and welcome in downtown Portland, and I think that's so important."
This year's turnout was larger than last year, with dozens and dozens of people taking part.
