Dutch Bros. raises millions in annual "Drink one for Dane" event

PORTLAND, Ore. —
Dutch Bros. raised $2.5 million in their "Drink One for Dane" event this year on May 19.

The fundraiser is named after Dane Boersma who is one of the co-founders of Dutch Bros and died of ALS in 2009.
Officials say the money raised was donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This is the leading non-profit organization in ALS research and services.
