According to GasBuddy.com, the cost of gas in the Portland area has continued to rise over the last month.
Just this week, the average cost of a gallon of regular gas is up 7.5 cents, averaging $4.33 a gallon. Prices in Portland are 12.9 cents higher than a month ago, but still down 94.2 cents over last year.
The cheapest station in Portland was priced at $3.79 a gallon, while the most expensive was $4.99 a gallon.
The lowest price in the state of Oregon was $3.59 a gallon, while the highest price in Oregon was $5.19 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.
The average price of gas around the northwest is comparable to Portland’s price. In Tacoma, people are paying $4.50 a gallon, in Eugene $4.11 a gallon, and in Salem $4.06 a gallon.

GasBuddy Analyst Patrick De Haan says he believes gas prices during the summer driving season will range nationally between $3.35 to $3.85 cents a gallon.
